Preschool letter W

Weather and Walk. I enjoy watching the kids interpret the activity and then see how they put it down on paper. Some kids are very precise while others aren’t. Some kids chatter constantly while others are very focused. Besides the kids hopefully learning something, I learned how to interact and teach others. Fun for all!

Happy 1st Birthday Sierra!

Our sweet little girl is now a year old. Time passes even quicker than before but she doesn’t hesitate to have a big presence. Lucky girl got breakfast donuts for her first birthday!

Some things about our Sierra:

* She is very petite. Not even on the charts for her size.

*  She only says “Mama” and “Dada” so far. She does know some basic sign language. She grunts and points and somehow gets everything she wants.

* Everybody says she looks like a doll.

* She crawls everywhere, and shows no interest in walking yet.

* She loves water – the fountains, baths, swimming.

           

  

 

This kid is an amazing eater. For her birthday dinner we went to The Wild Hare and she got her own first meal. She downed the entire thing, including the Oreos that come with the kids meal. Boy, was she happy to have her own plate of food!

  

 

One of her favorite activities is taking all the books off the shelf. She already loves books! She likes to try everything her big sisters do. So far she is the adventurous one and loves motion.

  

 

Dubbee {Grandma Sherril} was able to make it up a day around her birthday. We gave her the belated birthday gift we made her. Good times!

 

Since we were in the process of showing our house to sell, we had a little family party at Evan & Dana’s house. Just had a simple lunch and CAKE! Sierra loved the food. The funniest moment was when we caught her trying to steal Seoul’s cake (picture below)!

           

 

Presents! Sierra knows the drill. Everyone was so generous and she is going to be dressed so well! Silly Sydney tried to claim all the clothes for herself.

     

 

Grandpa got her a Veggie Tales book. It is still one of the favorites at our house!

Tulip Festival

This year we went to the Tulip Festival for preschool. So cold and windy, but so much beauty. The kids’ favorite part was jumping in the giant puddles… bless those rain boots! At the end of the school year, it was the favorite activity of many of the kids. Glad we could make fun memories!
