Seoul & Sydney thru the end of the year

I love capturing pictures of these girls! They are just so fun and beautiful and have the best personalities!

Santa came!

We had a fun Christmas morning with our own little family! Seoul got up and came in to enthusiastically ask if Santa came. She was SO excited that he left presents in the stockings and that he ate the cookies & milk and took Rudolph's extra nose she put out. [Our tradition is to put out a red light bulb in case Rudolph needs a back-up.] She was very concerned Sydney didn't get candy in her stocking. She loved opening her gifts... and helping Sydney, including taking over her toys.

 

Santa was very good to us. We were good to each other. There was lots of opening gifts, enjoying, and fun! Seoul's joy hit its peak when she discovered Santa brought the girls what they asked for when they sat on his lap {Seoul asked for books and Sydney asked for a baby toy}. Sydney didn't really open anything but her favorite was the puffy snacks and yogurt melts. [Later Seoul thought she'd spread more joy by dumping out half of each container for Sydney to eat as much as she wanted... what a sweet sister!] Toy-wise she loved the Little People brand nativity set (when it was in the box).

The morning was full of sweet moments as we watched the girls. We are truly blessed... and the day wasn't even over.

More Christmas

We went to church Christmas Day to celebrate the birth of our Savior. It is fitting that we were able to hear talks about His life & ministry as well as sing cheerful Christmas carols. I played the piano for the primary children to sing Our Christmas Tree Story.

Then we headed to Evan & Dana's house for family gift exchange. We love family and all the memories & generosity! After gifts and visiting we played a game of Picture Mad Gab. Pretty funny game!

{Missing from the pictures are David & Ashley who were there briefly but then went to visit with Ashley's family. Also Kelley who was taking all his pictures with his phone since we couldn't find the camera.}

Merry Christmas. It was a wonderful holiday and we are so blessed!!

Old & New Christmas Traditions

Pepsi Company always puts on a huge Christmas light display and we always drove through while we lived down there. This year we took the girls and they both loved it! Pretty sure Sydney never blinked...

Plus we have done a holiday dinner with our fabulous friends, the Springer Family, the last couple years and it's always a lot of fun. This was our attempt at a group photo... we all know kids don't necessarily cooperate during photos!

Family Christmas Party

My mom hosted a fun Christmas evening for the family this year. She had yummy soups, breads, meats, cheeses and a fun snowball dessert. She had pictures ready so we could each make a little ornament with our picture. We love spending time as a family! It was a fun kick-off to the Christmas festivities.

Happy Anniversary!

Kelley and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this holiday season. It's always a busy time but we try and take time to be together. It's been a great year and we have another great year to look forward to! It was low key - we spent time with the girls in the morning then went out to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and did some Christmas shopping. Love spending time with my sweet husband!

Six years of marriage have brought many happy memories and a loving family; our two beautiful girls being the best blessing!
