Sierra Lin

5 Months Old - 
[9/24-9/30] She rolled over again! (Seoul saw it this time).
[10/1-10/7] Sierra is sitting for a few minutes on her own now! Her hair is calm these days - boring!



3 Months Old - Week 13: Sierra is finally staying awake during baby book time at the library! 

Week 12: 2-month well baby appt: 24-1/2" long (95th percentile), 13 lb 12 oz (93rd percentile), head 15-1/2" (50th percentile). She is proportional... and her head is growing... so her brain is growing! She is such a good little girl! She does OK in the swing. She is pretty patient  with everything - being put down when the bigger girls need help or waiting for her turn to eat. Happy 4th of July - she slept through the Civil War Reenactment!

Week 11: First runny nose/cold...? 1st trip to the Wilsonville Water Fountain to play (aka sleep). Growth spurt? She is more fussy and doesn't sleep as long at night without needing to nurse.

Week 10: 9+ hours at night... and the count is on! She giggles and coos. Now she is in 3 month clothes, size 2 diapers. Her hair is still crazy fluffy. She really pushes off her legs to stand. Realized this week that she has stopped pooping & peeing on me - hallelujah!

Week 9: Sierra has started giggling and it's adorable! She sleeps 6+ hours a night now with a little binkie persuasion. Happy 2 month birthday!

Week 8: Sierra is finally getting into a routine of being awake more than asleep. She has already had outings to the library and the park and play groups... what a relaxed little girl! Except when she's upset during diaper changes - shrill cry and poop comes out simultaneously. We go through multiple diapers in one diaper change!

Week 7: More alert periods. She still enjoys tummy time. Still loves to just cuddle and snooze! 

Week 6: Her little cries now have tears. She started sleeping 4-1/2 hours at night and increasing consistently! 1st trip to the beach... she slept. Brief bout of cradle cap. She has started bringing her hands together. It takes forever to get her to burp, and inevitably she spits up. After every feeding. She has started wanting to be awake during the early morning hours for a bit... but more smiles!

Week 5: Happy 1 month birthday sweet girl! I think she has started smiling :) At a play group bowling activity she got her first kiss from a boy: Isaac Evans. She still sleeps through story time. When awake she is very alert and loves to look around. She is such a cuddle bug! Just melts right into you. She enjoys her baths, especially the water running through her luxurious locks - haha. This little one loves to "talk"... rather loudly! She pushes off her legs. Seoul gave her the 1st bottle. 

Week 4: Sierra is really starting to focus on faces and become social. She had her first sister attack of stickers all over her. She can raise her head/chest 90* when on her tummy. Obviously she doesn't mind tummy time, and often falls asleep. Ugh - she still pees and poops as soon as her diaper comes off.

Week 3: 2-wk-Dr-Appt - 20-7/8" long (75th percentile), 8 lb 15 oz (70th percentile), head 13-1/4" (5th percentile) - tiny head! She is a chill baby. 1st trip to the Zoo for Seoul's preschool trip... including a HUGE blow out. Lovely. Her belly button fell off in the night time - hooray! 1st time at Church [Canby 2nd Ward]. She holds her head pretty steady.

Week 2: Doctor Appt for a weight check - 8 lb 3 oz a week after birth. Sierra was introduced to daddy's Legacy friends! *Sigh... first poop on mommy* She sneezed and poop came out! She is not a fan of diaper changes - she has crazy strong legs to fight them!

Week 1: Happy Birthday 3 weeks before expected! 8 lb 11 oz, 21" long. She is healthy and strong! She sleeps a lot... because she was "early"?
