Time is a precious gift! We treasure every moment we spend with these girls as they grow. They are the best, and we truly are the luckiest parents! {sorry to everyone else - hehe!}

advent calendar

Seoul loves this advent calendar we got from Kelley's mom a few years ago. She loves to find the little ornament inside. Every year I think it would be fun to put little candies in each door but I never do. Maybe next year....

Sydney feels a bit left out because she just likes to take the ornaments off... and who wants to add days until Christmas?!

O Christmas Tree!

It's a wonderful time of year because we get to have a tree in our house! It's always an adventure getting a Christmas tree and this year was no exception, although it was a bit milder this year. We forgot to take twine when we drove up to pick a tree so we threw it on top and I sat on the window sill and held it as we drove back to the barn to pay. A fun memory :) We even strung a [note singular] popcorn strand!

We love our tree! Seoul helped Sydney learn not to play with the bottom of the tree. Sydney really just liked touching the needles and ornaments with a single finger, though. So cute to see her wonder at a new experience!

Canby tree lighting

We went again this year to the tree lighting in Canby. It was freezing cold and I was unclear on the times but it was fun. To kill some time we played with the Thomas the Train set in Parson's Pharmacy, and Seoul really discovered Thomas the Train... and now loves it. Seoul loved the parade and waved to every float!

Hark! Our little angels sing!

Our favorite thing this Christmas season is hearing Seoul sing 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.' We listen to the Hilary Weeks Christmastime version, which includes additional lyrics such as "Joy to the world... Joy to the world..." and "Joy... Joy... Joy" at the end. Seoul throws that in her version. Here is a short version of her singing it tonight.

Sydney also loves to sing! Whenever she hears music she "sings" along [rather loudly]. Tonight she graced us with her vocal stylings as well.

So having a camera plus two phone cameras makes blogging a bit more time consuming since I have more pictures to go through. However, it is fun to always have a camera on hand and it's fun to see the different pictures Kelley and I take.

Seoul loves to take Baby Toot-Toot out for walks. She narrates how the baby feels, including if she's asleep or looking around.
