Happy Birthday Cason!

We got to celebrate Cason's 4th birthday with the family. (Did I mention we love that they live closer these days?!) It was fun to see him run around like a big kid... how time flies! He has such a big, happy personality. Love you Cason!

Sweet Family Reunions

After we went to Cason's party we drove a bit further to see Kelley's Aunt Laurie & Uncle Jerry. The last time we saw them was when Seoul was 4 days old! It was neat to visit with them, and have them meet our beautiful girls. They are amazing, loving people that we are so grateful to have in our lives! 

Love you guys! Let's not wait 4 more years to get together!

Sydney loved this pig for some reason!!

They gave the girls some great antique toys. There is this solid baby bed the girls enjoy. I get to make some bedding for it.

This little ironing board and iron are a big hit - so cute! If only I ironed more so Seoul would have a better example... haha!

The other thing that is the most favorite is a little doll stroller that even has bells in the wheels. That gets played with the most... when I can handle the constant noise! Haha!

Fun with Daddy!

Some pictures from Kelley's phone... he loves spending time with his girls! I was at Time Out for Women so Kelley had the girls all day. Fun for him!

He let her dress herself for daddy-daughter day. Yep, a dress over a skirt. Awesome!

Sydney loves these Nerf guns! She never pulls the trigger... just squinches her face, shrugs her shoulders, and eventually just jabs you with it.

service project

Aspen planned a fantastic service project for our play group. People, and the kids, donated some various items for hygiene kits and activity kits for kids. At one activity the kids put the kits together. It was cute & funny to see the kids take ownership of the kits that had their donated items. Then at another activity we took a trip to Portland to ride the Tram up to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital to give the items. It was a fun trip and so neat to see the kids happy to serve!

big girl beds

We switched Sydney from the crib to a toddler bed because the side of the crib was broken, and she was in a {not so great} position.... shhh! Really not sure about that idea {still!}! But Seoul was excited for her bigger girl bed. The girls are getting so big, but look so little in their new beds.


Seoul was super excited for Sydney to be in her old big girl bed. For a long time it was referred to as "Seoul's bed" but now Sydney has adopted as "my own bed!"

We hadn't pulled the frame for the day bed down from the garage so Seoul had fun "camping" on the floor.

Sleeping kids are so beautiful and peaceful. I can fully appreciate these scenes even more when they DON'T go to bed easily, which happens more often than not lately.

Now the girls love playing up on the big bed! Oh, and it has not been this clean since the day we put it up.... it is ALWAYS covered in books, toys, and stuffed animals. I don't even know how Seoul can find room to sleep - haha!
