Sydney: Prima Ballerina

This time around we put Sydney into the Fairy Tale ballet class. She loved it! I love her little body in the ballet costumes – her little tush makes the tutu pop up in the back. She did {surprisingly} well at following directions. I’m sure Seoul showing her different ballet techniques previously helped her become more familiar with it.

The first class was the first time we tried braids in her crazy hair. She was thrilled! Then her silly expressions and body language in every picture are just so Sydney. Love that personality!

So fun to do activities, especially with friends. She was able to do it with her BFF Natalie. Cute girls!

“Field Trip” to fire station

Lilly’s Pad Learning brought the fire truck and ambulance to the school for the field trip. Seoul hadn’t been feeling good so she was extra clingy, but it was neat to see everything. What a fun[ny] group of kids! Seoul’s favorite part was the popsicle at the end. Haha!

Swim lessons for Sydney and Sierra

I enrolled the two younger girls in swim lessons. They enjoyed having their own activity while Seoul got to watch this time. Every baby I do a session of baby-parent classes. Sierra is the first baby that hasn’t cried during the first lesson. She is such a water baby it was fun to watch her! Sydney had fun as well and really got used to the water this round. She did great at being on her back. The one thing she didn’t love was jumping into the water, which surprised me since she is more adventurous. It’s great to live in a community that offers lessons and is just minutes from our house.

best birthday present ever!

I’ve wanted a DSLR camera for quite a while but I’m not one to spend a lot of money, especially on something for just me. So, Kelley got me one! For my birthday he gave me a choice between a new bed or a DSLR camera. For once I thought I’d be “selfish” and indulge myself. I chose a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. It is AWESOME! It’s still just me and my complete lack of skills taking photos but I think the pictures turn out FANTASTIC! So here are a sampling of of the week we first had the camera. Haha – yes, we take a lot more pictures! I can’t wait to actually learn the settings and how to manipulate the camera… in all the free time I have…

This was right before Sydney got sick. Seoul was already sick. She just laid on the couch – it was so sad.

 

Sierra likes to dance like her sisters already. See her raising her leg in an arabesque? Silly girl!

 

Muchas gracias to the best husband ever! He is always so aware of what I’m wanting, and gives the best gifts!

Happy birthday to me!

I got spoiled as always! I got some pretty new jewelry (a pretty silver snowflake necklace to always remember Elsa from Frozen – haha!) and some pretty blue earrings. Plus Kelley’s favorite game… choose between two things! This time it was between a new bed or a DSLR camera, both of which he said I’d been hinting at recently (and I didn’t even realize – man, he’s good at reading me!). Another post will show what I eventually decided upon.

Lilly’sPad Learning–planting flowers

The kids all brought a pansy to plant and make a beautiful entrance to their building. They had painted rocks with their names to mark their individual flowers. Seoul was pretty excited about the project.
