The many faces of Seoul

In a rare mood, Seoul asked that I take pictures of her different silly faces. Generally she turns away from the camera. She is so beautiful and fun! These days she loves to read her books and go to story time. She sings everywhere, all the time. We have great conversations on a daily basis. She is sensitive to others and will ask things such as: How is your day going? Are you happy or tired or both right now? Lately she's been asking about punctuation - question marks and exclamation points. She loves Sydney... calls her "best friend" "little one" "baby girl" or the newest one "Sydney, Syd, Syd." She is a little mommy - takes away things that are too small for her to play with, gives her crackers for a snack, washes her, plays with her, holds her - it warms our hearts. Every day she likes to help me clean or cook. She holds crayons/pens the "correct" way and colors in the lines (except her nursery pictures for some reason). I have to say lately she's very emotional and gives in to it (an indication of how she'll be in 10 years??).

Other people describe her as very tall, mature, quiet, observant, beautiful. Most people guess she's 4 years old. It's interesting to hear others describe your child. As our oldest we don't have any others as comparison.

We love her so much and she makes us laugh!

She asks for french braids and requested I take a picture so she could see them.

These pictures were actually taken the end of August.
