Oldies but Goodies

SYDNEY LOUISE

Sydney is such a busy-body! Cannot sit still for anything and "talks" all the time, just like big sis Seoul. When she hears music she either "sings" along or bounces up and down. She is constantly moving and investigating everything she can get her hands on. She doesn't have "favorite" foods yet but she enjoys cheese, chicken, and PB&J sandwiches. She loves her sister... always looks for her when she gets up from naps and follows her around the house. She loves to pull herself up on anything and she's beginning to stand by herself for a couple seconds at a time. When we go to story time she enjoys crawling around and pulling herself up the shelves to terrorize the books. Plus she claps and giggles during the rhymes & songs. She is such a delight to have in our family!

Always chewing on something... helps those chompers come in, I guess.

Never a fan of just hanging out on the tummy.

Love my sweetheart!

Awww.... Seoul woke her up early so she was a bit sad.

Cute crooked little smile!

The next few pictures are just Sydney's silly faces... different expressions constantly.

Our silly goose!

Lookin' a bit chilly but she's humoring Seoul by swinging on the new swing set.

Hard to believe she was our tiny baby once!

SEOUL ELIZABETH

{Kelley likes to call her our 2.75 year old since we count Sydney's age by months}

Seoul is crazy these days... in a good way! Chattering constantly and going full speed always makes for interesting days. She loves to sing, dance, read, draw, and "cook." Her favorite places to eat are Red Robin (which she calls Ribbon Robbin for some reason), Yogurt Shack (vanilla & chocolate with sprinkles & M&M's), and Taco Bell (cheese roll-ups). Every day she asks if we are going to story time (always looking for Miss Spider or Eloise books). In the morning she wakes up and calls for "daddy!" and runs around looking for him then comes to me disappointed {guess I'm only second best for her}. For lunch she loves PB&J sandwiches with carrots & ranch. Last but not least she adores her sister... shares & plays, with a few mishaps of "helping" too much of course.

{She calls herself "Seouly" or "Seouly-o - it's funny}

Seoul loves her animals and lining them up to "play games" or "watch football."

Telling me something important...

Lounging on the "big bed."

She loves to help clean the house.

Freezing cold but doing her duty of manning the garage sale.

First time on a tricycle and LOVES IT! She was super quick to figure out the pedaling and kind of figured out the steering.

Good helper! Pulling the dried oregano off the stalks.

Loves the picnic table from Uncle Evan... can't wait until Sydney can sit out and eat with her next summer. (She asked if I could put the high chair outside so Sydney could sit beside her.)

Loves her swing opportunities always!

Family night at the library - Lego's with dad!

Pure happiness as she rides the carousel!
Both girls bring us joy and we are SO lucky to be entrusted with these precious daughters of God. We learn even deeper unconditional love, patience, how to laugh (and sometimes when not to laugh),  and how to give of ourselves rather than think of ourselves first. Amazing times!
